Sarah Backiewicz is a Realtor with Falco, Smith and Kelley. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science (Accounting and Business Legal Studies) degree from Miami University. She started her career in the financial services industry, before leaving in 2000 to raise her three children, now grown. She went on to work at Gerber, LLC for seven years, working exclusively with first-generation entrepreneurs as CFO and a member of the leadership team. Sarah assumed the role of Beulah Park Director in September 2019 and obtained her real estate license in 2023. She is a member of the Columbus Board of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. Sarah serves as Beulah Park Director, on the board of The Beulah Park New Community Authority and The Beulah Park Architectural Review Board.
Her civic and community affiliations over the years include Treasurer and founding board member of the Upper Arlington Field Hockey Association; Secretary of the Upper Arlington High School Baseball Boosters; Treasurer of the Windermere Elementary PTO and Member of Flying Horse Farms’ Magic Makers and Kitchen Kapers (benefiting the OhioHealth Foundation).
Sarah has long had an interest in real estate and by chance discovered a passion for the principles of New Urbanism. Her curious, focused and strategic nature, coupled with her business acumen, allows her to thrive in the diversity of work afforded to her through Falco, Smith & Kelley. Even in her downtime, you can often find her exploring diverse neighborhoods and communities within Central Ohio and the Florida beaches along Highway 30A.
